myLot Discussions | | | | New Clearasil Commercials | | Does anyone else find the new Clearasil commercials disturbing. I find some of the new Clearasil commercials to be funny, but one I find quite disturbing. There is a girl, her mother, and her boyfriend on the couch. The mother is showing the boyfriend baby pictures of the girl. The mom then says there is a picture of her daughter naked in the bathtub. The girl then says, "You should see me now.". Her mother then says "No" and the girl replies "Oh Yeah". I really don't think that is the attitude I want to convey to my 13 year old daughter who was watching TV with me. I am a firm believer that the parents control what the child watches, but I do not think that promiscuity should be advertised in a commercial. They are selling it as confidence, but confidence is not sex.I am just curious if anyone else finds the commercial disturbing? | |
| | Is it really bad to pop pimples??? | | My boyfriend has a pimple prone skin, and every time i see a big red pimple on his face, i would always ask him if i could pop it. sometimes he complains, but, most of the time he doesn't coz he likes it too.
Some people say, pressing on a pimple makes the infection go back but, i just can't resist but to pop it.;)
I also heard that you could first stick a needle on it then pop it. What do you think guys??? | |

| | What type of acne/pimple medication should I buy tommorow? | | My skin has gotten like 200-300% worst in the last 3 months and I CANNOT stand it anymore. | | | spots! | | i havn't really suffered much from acne/spots, however it has become a problem for me a latly so i decided to buy some clearasil ultra gel. at first it looked like it was working then got worse, so after a week i stopped using it. do spot creams sometimes bring out spots before they get rid of spots, or is this just a bad reaction to the spot cream?
i start college in a month and really want to get rid of my spots, so any help/advise is appreciated. thanks. | |
| | It smells like heat! Huh? | | My fiance and I both washed our faces today in clearasil and it smells like heat, lol, well that's what I say. He says it smells like a doctor's office, and I have to say I agree, it kinda does. Have you ever bought a product that smells like heat, or a doctor's office, or any other kind of odd smell? I can't say that I have ever bought a product that smells this strange before. I guess it makes me wonder how these things are made. Does anyone know? Lol, my hands still smell like heat, I had my fiance smell it too! Told me I was making this discussion too, lol.So whatcha thinking? | |
