Sunblocker and sun tan lotion are not the same. Sunblock will completely block the harmful UV rays that are produced by the sun. Sunblock is far better for children and those that suffer from acne or other skin problems. Sunblock usually contains titanium dioxide or zinc oxide which completely blocks the sun. These creams are usually messy and can be seen so might just be used on smaller areas of the body.
